BEYOND REGIONAL BOUNDARIES: VISIONS IN BLACK EXHIBITIONS

Having a most successful and inclusive exhibition in 2023 celebrating A 3-part crosstown Gallery collaboration and cross-pollination representing 54 artists of African descent from Tallahassee to Miami Suncoast Black Arts Collaborative has forged a new mission and vision to: “elevate and celebrate what our cultural coast has to offer.”

Elevating Artists of African descent and BIPOC populations Beyond Regional Boundaries bridges communities, amplifies voices, and celebrates artistic excellence. We empower artists, fostering creativity that transcends borders. Through inclusive exhibitions and innovative programming, we cultivate a more vibrant and culturally enriched Suncoast where diversity thrives, skills flourish, innovation is encouraged, and economic prosperity can bloom. Collaborations with the Tampa Museum of Art, The James Museum, Sarasota Art Museum, and The Perez Museum, along with Arts and Cultural Alliances in Sarasota and St. Petersburg, work towards a transformed creative landscape where artists of African descent and BIPOC populations are celebrated, supported, and empowered to contribute and be included in the creative cultural fabric of the Suncoast region.
