Annual asalh muse

2020 Black muse

A signature event

Manasota ASALH, Black MUSE 2020 – February 2020 – Exhibition sponsorship with Art Center Sarasota, and Suncoast Black Arts Collaborative.


An The Association for the Study of African American Life and History's (ASALH) signature annual event  featuring twelve African American artists in a juried exhibition. Over 300 guests attended the opening reception honoring the artists who participated in a discussion about their art, beliefs, and culture. 


Suncoast Black Arts Collaborative worked with four Sarasota high schools for four of the artists to visit students and discuss their work and creative careers.
